    Dr Harish G Ramaswamy and Saurabh Desai (RBC-DSAI, IIT Madras) received the best paper award for their paper titled "Ablation-CAM: Visual Explanations for Deep Convolutional Network via Gradient-free Localization" at WACV 2020.
  • 2020 : Shweta Agrawal.
    "Optimal Broadcast Encryption from Pairings and LWE" by Shweta Agarwal and Shota Yamada has been selected to receive the Eurocrypt 2020 Best Paper Award.
  • 2020 : Vijayaragunathan.
    "On the Parameterized Complexity of the Expected Coverage Problem" by Fedor Fumin (Professor at University of Bergen, Norway) and Vijayragunathan has been selected to receive the Best Paper Award at Computer Science in Russia (CSR) 2020 Conference.
  • 2020 : Muhammad Arsath K F, Chester Rebeiro, Vinod G, Bodduna Rahul.
    PARAM: A Microprocessor Hardened for Power Side-Channel Attack Resistance - Muhammad Arsath, Vinod Ganesan, Rahul Bodduna, and Dr.Chester Rebeiro won the best paper award in IEEE International Symposium on Hardware Oriented Security and Trust (HOST 2020)
  • 2018 : Sudarsun Santhiappan, Jeshuren Chelladurai, Balaraman Ravindran.
    For the paper titled "A Novel Topic Modelling Based Weighting Framework for Class Imbalance Learning" has been selected for the best paper award at the ACM India Joint Conference on Data Science and Management of Data (CoDS-COMAD) held at Goa, from Jan 11th to 13th, 2018.
  • 2018 : Revathy N.
    For the paper "Charm: Exploiting Geographical Diversity Through Coherent Combining in Low-Power Wide-Area Networks" at ACM/IEEE IPSN 2018, April 2018, Portugal, done in collaboration with the team at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Pittsburgh during Fulbright Doctoral Exchange Program.

  • 2016 : Saurabh Mohanrao Kalikar, Rupesh Nasre.
    PPoPP 2016 : Saurabh Kalikar (CS14S021) and Rupesh Nasre's paper titled "DomLock: A New Multi-Granularity Locking Technique for Hierarchies" has been co-awarded the Distinguished Paper Award at the 21st ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming (PPoPP) 2016 held at Barcelona, Spain.

    at the Intermational Conference on Web Information Systems Engineering (WISE 2016) held in Shanghai, China during Nov. 2016.
  • 2004 : B. S. Manoj, S. Jayasree, C. Siva Ram Murthy.
    Best Paper Award for the paper entitled “A Novel Battery Aware MAC Protocol for Ad hoc Wireless Networks” at the 11th International Conference on High Performance Computing 2004 (HiPC 2004) held in Bangalore, India during December 19-22, 2004.
